Labores Solis are currently a three piece metal band hailing from Southport, Lancashire, England and consist of Kyle Chadwick on guitar, Calum Earle on drums and Conna Bray on vocals. 

 

The band was founded in 2009 by guitarist Kyle Chadwick and drummer Calum Earle and where initally a two piece band leading up to mid 2013, when Conna Bray screamer & singer/songwriter asked whether he could try out for the band on vocals. He later did, and soon became Labores Solis's first ever vocalist.

 

Labores Solis have always prided themselves as being a band that have never been afraid to experiment with playing different musical styles, such as soft rock and punk as well as playing a metal style that combines elements of thrash, metalcore/deathcore, hardcore and more, drawing influences from many bands, such as classic metal legends Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Metallica and more recent bands, like In Flames, Parkway Drive, While She Sleeps, Killswitch Engage, Alexisonfire and more.

 

​In the few months that Labores Solis have been a three piece band, they have already written 9 songs all varying in style and genre. They have appeared on Southport's Mighty FM Live Sounds twice. Thirdly, they have started work recording their debut EP consisting of three tracks at present, with a forth and final track to be recorded in the near future. Finally, with gigs on the near horizon in the new year, Labores Solis will look forward to playing as many shows as possible.
